DALHART, TEXAS – Legacy Assisted Living, a leading assisted living facility dedicated to providing exceptional care to its residents in Dalhart, is excited to announce the inauguration of its new greenhouse with a special Planting Day celebration. The event aims to bring together family members of the residents, as well as the entire community, to engage in a memorable day of gardening and fostering a sense of connection with nature.
Attendees of all ages are encouraged to participate, as this event seeks to foster intergenerational connections and provide an inclusive environment for residents, their families, and the wider community. Planting Day aims to cultivate a sense of togetherness while promoting the benefits of horticultural therapy, which has proven to be beneficial for emotional well-being and overall quality of life.
“We are thrilled to introduce our new greenhouse through the Planting Day celebration,” said Barbie Walker, Director of Legacy. “This event serves as an opportunity to embrace the beauty of nature, connect with our loved ones, and engage in a meaningful activity that benefits both physical and mental well-being. We look forward to welcoming our residents’ families and the entire community for a day filled with warmth, laughter, and the joy of gardening.”
Together with Legacy, Dallam Hartley Counties Hospital District invites all members of the community, including families, friends, and gardening enthusiasts, to participate in this joyous occasion. The event is free of charge and open to the public, ensuring an inclusive atmosphere for everyone to enjoy.
