Tonya Fields is a Family Nurse Practitioner, Board Certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Program. She has a certification in Family Practice and has been practicing as a nurse practitioner since 2009. Fields sees walk-in patients at High Country Community Rural Health Clinic on Mondays and is accepting new patients to be seen Tuesdays through Thursdays at Dalhart Family Medicine Clinic.
Education:
Fields has nearly 25 years of experience treating patients in the Texas panhandle. She became a registered nurse in 1999 after graduating from Amarillo College and went on to become a nurse practitioner in 2009 after graduating from West Texas A&M University. She has experience working in neonatal intensive care units, urgent care, primary care, obstetrics, pediatrics, palliative care and more. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Mrs. Fields is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Basic Life Support and by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She currently holds a Nurse Practitioner and RN license in the State of Texas.
