The Sleep You Need
All of us know the importance of a good night’s sleep. But many people suffer from a variety of sleep problems. To find a solution, DHCHD has a Sleep Disorders Center which can conduct sleep studies to help identify sleep disorders. Some sleep problems, such as sleep apnea, cause you to stop breathing while you are asleep. Sleep apnea is one of the most common sleep disorders and can harm your health if left untreated. Other sleep problems include:
- Insomnia
- Sleepwalking
- Night terrors
- Bed wetting
- Periodic limb movement disorder
- Narcolepsy or difficulty staying awake
The Sleep Studies Lab can help identify your sleep problem or help you find ways to cope with other things that are disrupting your sleep, such as rotating shift work.
DHCHD offers in-house and at home sleep studies. Sleep studies are referral biased. Ask your provider for a sleep study referral today, even if your provider is out of town, you can have your sleep study at DHCHD.
Sleep Studies are located inside of Coon Memorial Hospital at 1411 Denver Ave. Call 806.244.4571 for more information.
