We know that sometimes hospital stays can be stressful, so we offer a chapel on the first floor for reflection or prayer.
Coon Memorial Hospital is a smoke-free facility.
Safety During Helicopter Transport
In case of an emergency that requires helicopter transport, the street in front of the hospital is used as a helicopter pad. If you park in front of the hospital, be aware that you may need to move your car if a medical helicopter is going to land. Police will block the street during an emergency transport. For your own safety, please stay away from the helicopter. Do not approach the helicopter unless you are escorted by a member of the flight crew. Wind gusts generated by helicopters can cause bodily injury and damage to personal vehicles.
