Visiting Hours, Parking, and Services

Support from family and friends plays a crucial role in a patient’s recovery. We encourage visitors to check on their loved ones during their hospital stay and actively participate in their healing process.
Visiting hours are daily from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a limit of 2 visitors at a time. Visitor parking is free, and waiting rooms are conveniently located throughout the hospital. The cafeteria is open from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., serving breakfast from 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and lunch from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Vending machines are available in the cafeteria 24/7.
To provide comfort during stressful times, we offer a chapel on the first floor, just off the main lobby, for reflection or prayer.
Please note that Coon Memorial Hospital is a smoke-free facility.
Safety During Helicopter Transport
In the event of an emergency requiring helicopter transport, Denver Ave between E. Texas Blvd and E. 16th St. may occasionally be used as a landing area, in addition to the hospital’s helipad. If you are parked in front of the hospital, be prepared to move your vehicle if a medical helicopter is landing. During an emergency, police will block off the street. For your safety, please stay clear of the helicopter and do not approach unless accompanied by a flight crew member. Helicopter-induced wind gusts can cause injury and damage to personal vehicles.
