DHCHD to Host Drive-Through Health Fair October 27

DALHART, TEXAS – Dallam Hartley Counties Hospital District will be hosting a drive-through community health fair on Thursday, October 27, 2022, from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.

The health fair, which is free for all attendees, will take place in the parking lot of Legacy Assisted Living at 301 E Texas Boulevard in Dalhart, Texas. All attendees will receive a free lab voucher and vendor bag, while supplies last. The lab voucher is good for the following labs: CBC, CMP, LIPID, and HGBA1C. Testing with the voucher will be available on November 2, 9, and 16 from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Coon Memorial Lab inside the hospital.

“We are excited to continue to offer this free event to our community,” said Michelle Macha, DHCHD Marketing Director. “This is a great time to get your annual lab tests done as well as meet some of the new faces at the hospital.”

Once a lab voucher is obtained at the health fair, those interested in participating in lab testing must fill out the pre-admit form located in their vendor bags. The voucher and the form will then need to be submitted to the ER admissions department during one of the designated testing dates.

The lab results will be emailed to the patient and viewable on Coon Memorial Hospital’s patient portal. Results should be available 24 hours after the labs have been drawn. For more information about the health fair, please visit www.dhchd.org/2022-health-fair.
