DHCHD Announces New General Surgeon

Dalhart, Texas – Dallam Hartley Counties Hospital District is proud to welcome Minh Nguyen, MD as general surgeon. Dr. Nguyen began performing surgery at DHCHD in December.

Dr. Nguyen is joining DHCHD from Union County General Hospital in Clayton, New Mexico where he served as General Surgeon. Dr. Nguyen graduated in 1992 from the University of California in Los Angeles with his bachelor’s in biochemistry. From there he went on to medical school at the State University of NY – HSC in Brooklyn, NY, where he also completed his residency in General Surgery.

He has also practiced at Centennial Medical Center in Frisco, Texas as the Chief of Surgery and in general surgery at his solo practice. With almost 20 years of practice, Dr. Nguyen will be able to perform procedures like gallbladder removal, appendectomies, hernia repairs, and skin lesion removals.
