Q: Are the clinics open?

A: Yes, both have reduced hours. Here are the current hour changes: 

Dalhart Family Medicine Clinic: 806.244.5668 

  • Closed: Fridays until further notice.
  • Closing at noon on Wednesday’s

High Country Rural Health Clinic: 806.244.5668 

  • Dr. Cloxton closing at noon Wednesdays and all day Fridays.

Walk-In Clinic:

  • Open 8 am – 5 pm Monday – Thursday until further notice
  • Friday 7 am – 12 pm until further notice
  • Closed on Saturday until further notice

 

Q: Why are clinic doors locked? 

A: This is a protective measure put in place to be able to pre-screen patients before allowing them in the building. 

 

Q: How do I get a telemedicine appointment?

A: Call 806.244.5668 to set an appointment during business hours. Call 806-244-9251 after hours.

 

Q: How do I get a COVID-19 test?

A: Call 806.244.5668 and ask to make an appointment with your provider and that you would like a COVID19 test. Your provider will determine if one is needed. Call 806-244-9251 after hours.

 

Q: Is it safe to come to the hospital?

A: Yes, we are cleaning and using protective gear. If you can do your hospital business over the phone, it is best to do so. Please call 806.244.4571 for service, and they will direct your call.

 

Q: When can I find current COVID-19 numbers for our area? The report card is posted M – F at 3 pm.

Q: Do I need to wear a mask to come to the hospital?

A: Yes, you will be required to wear one. If you do not have one a mask will be provided to you.

 

Q: Can I get lab work done without coming into the hospital?

Yes, if you have a provider ordered lab you may use the drive up testing. You may park on the pull-up pad outside of the admissions doors off Denver Street in front of the hospital. When you have arrived, you may call 806. 244.9309. Please remember this is NOT a drive up COVID testing location. ONLY provider ordered COVID test will be done at this location, or provider ordered blood draws.
