Blood Drive to Benefit Jeremiah Bell

This upcoming blood drive will benefit Jeremiah Bell, the son of Misty Bell, Case Manager at DHCHD. Just as the blood drive that DHCHD held earlier in the year, the same benefits will be passed to Jeremiah. In this case, if Jeremiah does not use the credit, his family can give the credit to another person! Please read for more details.

A patient credit account has been set up for Jeremiah Bell with Coffee Memorial Blood Center. Your donation will give points to Jeremiah that will build up into funds to help pay for his blood transfusions. This helps support the Bell family financially with medical costs. When you go to donate, please let the staff know upfront that this is a credit for Jeremiah Bell so appropriate paperwork can be completed. #hisfightismyfight #donateforjeremiah

To schedule an appointment please call 806.331.8833 or online at this link: https://www.yourbloodinstitute.org/. Walk-ins are also welcome.

Jeremiah Bell was diagnosed with Wilms Tumor (kidney cancer) on March 19th. He is the 5-year-old son of Misti and Chiz Bell. Misti is our case manager for the hospital and has been with us for 15 years. He has had surgery and begun chemo-which will be weekly for the next 15 weeks. He has already had to stay in the hospital because of the side effects of chemo and his weakened immune system.

NOTE: Your donation will NOT go directly to him, so blood type and donation type are not specific to just his needs, all types of blood and donations are welcome.
