Alicia Balderas, PA, Joins Dalhart Family Medicine Clinic

DALHART, TEXAS – Dallam Hartley Counties Hospital District is pleased to announce Alicia Balderas, Physician Assistant, joined Dalhart Family Medicine Clinic’s team of medical providers in September.

Balderas, who has been a PA for 13 years, has experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, rural health, and palliative care. She said she is excited to get involved within the Dalhart community, meet new people, and make new friendships.

“I enjoy working in healthcare and being involved in an important aspect of my patients’ lives, which is their health,” Balderas said. “I love to encourage my patients. I love my job. I have a son who is in elementary school. We love to watch movies but during football season it’s all about football. I’m a Cowboys fan, and my husband is a 49ers fan.”

Balderas graduated from the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) Physician Assistant Program in 2010 and has been treating patients in the panhandle ever since. She is currently accepting new patients at DFMC.

“We are delighted to have Alicia join our team of providers,” said Kacey Schniederjan, DHCHD CEO. “She is a wonderful provider who has already been a great asset to our medical team in the short time she has been here. We are excited to have her treating patients at DFMC.”

A meet and greet event will be held Tuesday, November 14 from 9:00-10:00 a.m. at Coon Memorial Hospital. The entire community is invited to attend to meet Balderas.
