Interested in a career as a nurse? Amarillo College, Frank Phillips College, and five regional hospital districts, including us, are part of a consortium conceived to increase the number of homegrown nurses serving rural Panhandle communities.
The Rural Nursing Education Consortium (RNEC) supports nursing educational opportunities throughout both Colleges’ service areas with the goal of producing nurses where they live in order to create a healthy future for these communities.
