Jennifer Yaws, FNP-C, to Join Dalhart Family Medicine Clinic Jan. 4

DALHART, TEXAS – Dallam Hartley Counties Hospital District is pleased to announce Jennifer Yaws, Family Nurse Practitioner, will be joining Dalhart Family Medicine Clinic’s team of medical providers.

Following the retirement of Bruce Schubert, PA, Yaws will begin seeing patients at DFMC January 4, 2022. Yaws is not new to Dalhart, as she has been treating ER patients and walk-in clinic patients here for the past year.

“We are delighted to have Jennifer join our team full-time,” said Kacey Schniederjan, DHCHD CEO. “She is a wonderful provider who has already been a great asset to our medical team. We are excited to have her treating patients at DFMC.”

Originally from Borger, Texas, Yaws has been treating patients in the Texas panhandle for 25 years. She became a Registered Nurse in 1998 and went on to become a Nurse Practitioner in 2011. She has experience working in the emergency department, intensive care units, urgent care, and primary care. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

“I absolutely LOVE what I do and feel tremendously blessed to be part of such a great profession,” said Yaws. “I will see patients from two weeks old to geriatrics and everything between at Dalhart Family Medicine. I am a single mom of a beautiful 15-year-old daughter and three fabulous dogs!”
