Jeremiah Bell was diagnosed with Wilms Tumor (kidney cancer) on March 19th. He is the 5-year-old son of Misti and Chiz Bell. Misti is our case manager for the hospital and has been with us for 15 years. He has had surgery and begun chemo-which will be weekly for the next 15 weeks. He has already had to stay in the hospital because of the side effects of chemo and his weakened immune system.
We recently found out that donating blood at this upcoming blood drive will benefit Jeremiah Bell, the son of Misty Bell, Case Manager at DHCHD. Please read for more details.
A patient credit account has been set up for Jeremiah Bell with Coffee Memorial Blood Center. Your donation will give points to Jeremiah that will build up into funds to help pay for his blood transfusions. This helps support the Bell family financially with medical costs.
