Report Card 7/2/20

Community Health Official, Dr. Matt Turner

Dallam & Hartley Counties,

In the past week, our COVID-19 infection rate has gone up considerably, based on CDC guidelines our counties should be observing strong social distancing guidelines and trying to stay home when possible, similar to what we were doing a month ago. The elderly are at extremely high risk and should be exercising extreme precautions at this time. As a healthcare provider, I have seen firsthand the effects of this virus on all ages, all genders, and all races. This virus does not discriminate, it is so important to protect yourself and others by wearing a face-covering when leaving your home for necessities. Yes, our community is late to see our case spike, but now it is in our own hands to protect our community.
