Our community is experiencing a spike in COVID – 19 cases. Due to this DHCHD clinics will be relocking the front doors and returning to the wait in your car system as before. Well-child checks will be rescheduled to a later date as well. We will also be moving back to virtual clinic visits as permitted.
As predicted our community is late to see a rise in cases, because of our rural location. Even though COVID – 19 is not a big headline in mainstream news lately, it is a big headline in our community. Wearing masks and continuing to social distance are two big things that our community can do to help slow the spread during this time. Please remember COVID – 19 can infect all age groups of people and be harmful to all.
We cannot force our community to do these things, we can only encourage and hope that our community comes together to be thoughtful and mindful of their community friends and family. Here at DHCHD, we have been on the front lines of COVID – 19 for the past four months, we have appreciated the support our community has shown us.
